Windmill
This is the second time that i've seen this convoy of windmill blades while driving up to school. The first time there was one truck with two blades. This time there were two trucks with two blades each. They are massive. Huge. Enormous. I can't imagine how large the actual windmill is. I saw them being made on "Really Big Things" one time. They're amazing.

Yes they are GI-normous! We saw that episode of Really Big Things too (yeah! Geeks Unite!) They are actually building the motor part of these windmills at James' company in Round Rock (but that's not where the blades are going). Even that motor housing (that goes in the middle of the 3 blades) is freaking huge - if you're ever up in RR, you can see the shells of them in the parking lot outside the plant. You can see it from I35.
um, did you take these pics while driving?!
It was very safe. I can find the camera function on my phone without looking! It's a fantastic skill to have.
