Canoeing Lady Bird Lake (Town Lake)

This past Saturday I went canoeing for the 2nd or 3rd time that i've lived in Austin. It was tons o' fun. There are humongous turtles. We saw on that was about 2 feet in diameter. It looked like something out of the prehistoric ages swimming down the river. We saw one group that was managing to sink two of their boats. Six people were in the water swimming while their boat was slowly filling with water. These are the same people that didn't quite know how to use their oars. We moved quickly away from them as to not by some way capsize our boat too just by being near them.

Those are some great pictures! My favorite is the one with you in the forground and Tam in the background. The composition of that picture keeps me staring at it. Well done! (Do I sound like a teacher:) )
