I love my class. I never in a million years thought that I would be using those words to describe school. My instructor is great, my classmates are ok. There are two really annoying girls that sit in front of me that look online on Ebay for things during class. Slackers....
I turned in my mechanical assembly project on Friday. It is worth 25% of my final grade. I start on my architectural log cabin drawings on Monday. I can't wait! That is also worth 25% of my final grade. The other 50% is from all of the drawings that we do in class that have been graded. Out of my last 5, I think I had 3 100s!!! He gives us a final proof to look at and check our work against before we turn ours in, but I guess some people don't pay that much attention to it. I've also done two extra projects that have each gotten me a +1 on my final grade. So things are going really well. I'm sad that there are only 7 more classes left. These last 5.5 weeks have flown by.
BUT, that means that I get to see my friends in Kentucky in less than TWO WEEKS!!! Which is super exciting. They have a 4th of July Pool Party every year and I haven't been able to go for the last few years. But, this year, I am fortunate enough to be able to fly up there.

Visit to GA #2
This was another fun trip. Hanging out with friends and family makes life so much fun. Sometimes I miss GA a lot. I miss all my great friends and the fam, of course.
We played a lot of the Wii, went to the Braves' game and just hung around.

Drafting
I started school on Tuesday. I am taking a technical drafting class. I have a protractor, special drafting pencil, an engineer's scale, some triangles and a drafting table at school. It is the coolest thing EVER! My homework this weekend is "lettering". I have to write the alphabet 3 times in 3 different sizes. It's the special drafting letters. I definitely could do that!
I had fast pitch softball practice this morning and am about to go for a bike ride. It's 97 degrees outside and i'm pretty certain there isn't a cloud in the sky. I don't mind being hot when i'm prepared for it.

Georgia Visit #1
I went to Georgia the first weekend of May for my friends' Commitment Reception and was able to sneak a few moments on dad's new boat. I miss the lake so much. The water was super cold, I still couldn't do a lot on my hurt ankle, but the little sister and I were able to tube some. It was some of the most exhausting 4 minutes of my life!

The Skeletones
Last week was the big Concert for the kids that have been in their music camp for the last 6 or so weeks. I don't think they did too shabby for being 7 and just learning the instruments and performance tricks.
I made this movie when I was supposed to be working on the soccer movie. I needed a change of scenery and was trying to figure out some editing tricks with live footage.
Enjoy...
